The Universe is listening

I believe that once you become clear and aware of what you truly want and desire, that is when you will allow it into your life – until then you are not ready to receive that which you don’t yet know or understand.

I understand there is actually some science behind manifestation. When we put out into the universe what we want our lives to look like, it sends a message to our brain that this life is now relevant information for us to actually perceive it. A small example I can think of is when I bought my car, all of a sudden I noticed it was everywhere. That is just your mind now deeming that information relevant to you.. LIFE HACK – you’re welcome.

So regardless if you believe in science or spirituality it doesn’t matter because you now understand exactly how we create our lives.

Twice now in the darkness of the night, feeling raw, vulnerable, and craving a dose of like-minded conversations and high vibrational energy I have sent this desire out into the universe, and twice it has been, to my absolute surprise and delight, delivered.

The first time I was in Port Lincoln, South Australia. The trip we did around South Aus was really confronting for me, I realised a lot about myself that I hadn’t been ready to acknowledge until I was basically forced to. I had little reception so long, wholesome, fulfilling conversations were at a minimum (to give you a bit of an insight).

I walked into a beautiful wholefood store (Ethical Kitchen, if you’re ever traveling through I’d highly recommend for all your powder, wholefood, $5 curry bowl needs) and overheard the owner and a customer speaking my language (if you know you know), classic noisy Jen, I wriggled my way into this enlightened chat that turned into the 3 of us walking around the store for over an hour, all exchanging opinions, knowledge, and vibes until I remembered I told Rob I’d be 5 minutes and he was waiting in the van for me whoops..

And the second time my wishes were granted was on the 24 of May – yes I remember the date as it was honestly too magical to forget.

We had parked up at the toilets for the Grand Canyon walk, getting ready to go for a days hike as a woman approached us (the day was full of mists, so if you would like to imagine a woman appearing out of thin air that’s what it was like!) in need of some tobacco. I found out this strange woman turned out to be an oracle reader, and I knew then that she was who I’d asked for. I got out my oracle deck from the van as she went to her car and got out her whole damn altar, a basket full of cards, crystals, incense, candles, photos of her loved ones, jewellery, THE WHOLE LOT!

You see the best part of living in a van is you have all your belongings with you wherever you go. So picture this, on the side of the road, surrounded by the forest; we lay my picnic rug down, placed our altars atop it, burnt some incense, lit candles, played vibey music, and cleansed ourselves with paleo santo; if this isn’t a positive energy picnic then I don’t know what is.

This already exceeded any of my hopes and dreams, as I realised this is everything I want to cultivate in my life, an energy exchange (although I was thinking, shit what can I offer) and like I was being listened to, Tey mentioned she’d missed her massage appointment and was feeling really tight in her shoulders.. DING, DING, DING here is my offering.

After absorbing the high vibe energies, good chats and massages, our feet were completely numb which called for a walk to get some blood moving. The sight we saw was beyond any words, but I’ll try for you, it was majestic, magical, sacred, honestly as though the universe was like yep lets put on a show for this beautiful connection unfolding. We all stood in absolute silence, watching the clouds roll through the canyon, listening to the birds singing, the crisp air awakening our senses. I don’t know how long we stayed here for, in complete awe, in a trance, although the cold crept in again so we walked back to the van. Along the way back I realised again, that I have all my belongings with me which meant I could make us a heart opening, warming batch of cacao!

So I sat, warming my hands from the cacao as this stranger that became a soul sister gave me the most beautiful oracle reading.

We finished off this experience (almost like a closing ceremony) at a beautiful wholefood café, nourishing our bodies just as we’d nourished our souls all day.

Yep, this is my life, and I’m so in love with every magical moment I get to experience.
